UGA Extension Cobb County provides trainings, programs, resources and services as the educational outreach of the University of Georgia. The Cobb County Extension offers a variety of educational programming and information to the community. We have three major areas of service and information to Cobb County and surrounding areas.
The ANR County Agent and our programs assistants in Agriculture and Natural Resources serves the community by offering landscaping, gardening, soil and water testing information to our residents.
The Master Gardeners Volunteers offers their volunteered time to assist the community as well as the office staff. Our 4-H agent creates and organizes youth educational programs including competitive events which will assist young people to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility and life skills.
Our Family and Consumer Science agent offers and designs educational programs for the community needs, provides information you can trust on money, home, health, food and family and oversees the EFNEP program which helps families on a budget learn to eat healthy.
