4-H Youth Development

head-heart-hands-health

The Georgia 4-H program is part of the educational outreach of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. 4-H is the largest youth organization in the world.

Pierce County 4-H is dedicated to providing youth development opportunities to students. 4-H offers a wide range of programs that allow youth to participate in activities in addition to their current school extra-curricular activities.

4-H teaches life skills such as public speaking, communication and leadership. Although proud of its beginnings as corn and tomato clubs, 4-H has evolved over the years to teach about agriculture, computers, recycling, photography, livestock, teamwork and many other topics relative to Pierce County's youth.

Who's eligible to join 4-H?
Pierce County 4-H has a program for youth in 5th through 12th grade.
