Important Reminders

  • Stop by the office or mail Summer Camp registration in to sign up. *Only a few spots left*
    • Cloverleaf Camp at Rock Eagle (4th-6th grade)
    • Wilderness Challenge Camp at Wahsega (6th-8th grade)
    • Junior Camp at Burton (7th-8th grade)
    • Senior Camp at Wahsega (9th-12th grade)
    • Senior Extreme at Pioneer Camp (9th-12th grade)
    • Natural Resource Camp at Rock Eagle (9th-12th grade)
      • Don't forget to sell onions! (DUE BY FRIDAY THE 12th to the 4-H Office) 
  • Fishing Club April 27th

  • Horse Club on April 25th at 4-H Office
    • Please let Ms. Victoria know if you're attending, the location may change. 
  • Sign-Up for our Community Service, Annual Tea Party, on April 21st! Need 4-6 4-H'ers to help. 
  • If you are interested in competing in the Horse Educational contest, Please let Ms. Victoria know. Needs to be turned in by May 3rd

Summer Day camps will be sent out soon and sent home with 4-H'er at club meetings coming up! 

Campers who have already registered please join us for Camp Orientation on May 30th at 6pm! 

 

Peach County 4-H Vidalia Onion sales! Help us support our 4-H'er go to camp by purchasing opinions from a 4-H'er or contacting our office! Orders are due by Friday, April 12th!

 Wishing GOOD LUCK to our Poultry team on April 15th and S.A.F.E Shotgun Team on April 20th for competing at their area competition! 

       

If you are interested in our horse educational content, please talk with Ms. Victoria. (attached are the rules to each type of contest)

In addition to traditional horse show classes, the Georgia 4-H State Horse Show also provides the opportunity for 4-Hers who are exhibiting or who are not exhibiting horses to take part in the week through participation in the following educational contests:

  • METHOD DEMONSTRATION CONTEST (INDIVIDUAL)
    • Participants must choose to either participate in Method Demonstration (Individual) or Public Speaking (Individual); they cannot participate in bot
  • PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST
    • Subject matter of speeches must pertain to the horse industry.
  • GEORGIA 4-H HORSE DRAWING CONTEST
    • 4-H member broadens his or her horizons and utilizes creative talent within the Horse Project through drawing exhibitions.
  • GEORGIA 4-H HORSE PAINTING CONTEST
    • 4-H member applies artistic talent to increase knowledge and skill in equine-related painting.
  • GEORGIA 4-H HORSE ESSAY CONTEST
    • Encourages youths to gain better contact and use of the English language. Stimulates youths to expand their horse knowledge and learn how to use and interpret resources available on different subjec
  • GEORGIA 4-H HORSE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
    • This is a great way to share your photographs. While not essential, we hope the photography contest entries will express creativity in communicating 4-H to exhibit view
