Muscogee 4-H takes home District Honors

Columbus-Muscogee County 4-H’ers competed alongside 274 middle school students and 326 high school students, in Georgia Northwest District Project Achievement, winning district honors. In this competition, students must submit a portfolio or resume of their project work over the past year. This includes community service, leadership, citizenship and extra-curricular organizations. The students then travel to Rock Eagle 4-H Center to compete with a presentation to a panel of judges. Lexi Sherrer, competing in Performing Arts, will be advancing to State 4-H Congress for state competition.

Summer Camp

Project Achievement
Project Achievement This core program showcases the work and success of 4-H'ers through presentations and portfolios on numerous topics. Members compete against their peers at the local, district and state levels in an effort to master their project.

Project S.A.F.E.
Project S.A.F.E. Project S.A.F.E. (Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education) is a curriculum based and designed to assist young people in personal development, establish a personal environmental ethic and explore life-long vocational and avocational activities.
Military Programs UGA Extension Military Outreach builds partnerships and provides programs that help Georgia military families find positive ways to cope with the stress of military life.
