General Info

What is 4-H?

4-H is part of UGA Extension in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. 4-H helps young people acquire knowledge, develop life skills, and form attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society through "hands-on" learning experiences.

4-H Emblem

The emblem is a four-leaf clover with the letter "H" on each leaf. The letters in the emblem represent; Head, Heart, Hands and Health.

4-H Motto

"To make the best better"

4-H Pledge

"I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
my heart to greater loyalty,
my hands to larger service,
and my health to better living
